Arlene Anne Hilman was born August 11, 1949, in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, and she passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Cochrane, Alberta. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who touched the lives of many throughout her 76 years.
A woman of deep faith, Arlene loved the Lord with her whole heart and lived her life guided by her faith. She found strength and peace throughout many hardships in life and shared that light with others through her compassion, encouragement and grace.
Arlene loved people – her greatest joy being her family, her close friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, the hurting, the broken and the friendless. She poured her heart into praying for each of those dear to her and celebrating them in every season of life.
Arlene had a special passion for gardening. Whether tending flowers or growing food, she delighted in the simple, healing rhythms of nature and the beautiful design of it. She had a keen curiosity and interest in holistic health and was always eager to learn, share and support others in living well.
Arlene will be remembered for her beautiful faith, her unwavering love and the many ways she touched the lives of others.
