Vernon was born December 11, 1931 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and died June 18, 2013 in Calgary, Alberta at 81 years of age.
Vern is survived by his wife Melanie of 8 years, his daughter in Chilliwack, a son on Vancouver Island and his other children and grandchildren as well. Vernon will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
