Frederick Steven Pigeon

May 29, 1943 - Welland, Ontario   -   May 13, 2026 - Cochrane, Alberta

With a shattered heart I share Fred's unexpected passing.

Our story of love began in 2014. We were warmly welcomed into each others families. Along our journey together we enjoyed many wonderful adventures. Now those good memories bring comfort. The love we shared remains forever.

Fred will be sorely missed by his sons and their children: Fred(Julie), Kevin(Angela), Mark(Jade). Grandchildren: Tylin, Devan, Zane, Quin and Knox. 

Fred's younger siblings and their families will miss him: Danny, Carol, Raymond(Susan), Bobby(Barbara), and Anne(Gord).

The Macklem family is grieving their Step-Fredder and Baba: Michael(Aleks), Kevin(Angela), Aaron(Emmery), Grands: Emmett, Quinten, Nellia, and Isaac.

A celebration of Fred's life will be held in the future.

During his lifetime Fred made many friends. This site is a place to share your memories and/or photos.  

As we continue our journey of life without Fred always remember: "In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone."
