It is with deep sadness the family of LeeAnn Luciano announces her passing on May 28th 2026 after a courageous battle with strength and dignity.
LeeAnn was a devoted wife and mother, while having a career that excelled in the Health Care field. Working for Bethany Care and Extendicare, her career began as a Recreational Therapist in Cochrane. Through experience and further education, she filled roles in Calgary facilities such as Manager of Recreation and Volunteers, Education Coordinator in Organizational Development, Manager of Dementia Programs and Occupational Health Coordinator.
Following her retirement, she accepted a position with Holy Spirit Catholic School in Cochrane as an Education Assistant and had a ball. She loved the children and had so much fun with them!
She leaves to mourn her husband Jim Luciano of 40 years her two sons, Anthony Luciano (Willow, Maclin and Isaiah), Luke Luciano (Amanda) and her grandchild Lily Luciano.
She will be missed by her parents, John and Marj Janzen of Innisfail, her bother Dan Janzen (Teresa) of Red Deer, her sister Christine Ripplinger (Gene) of Regina and predeceased by her brother Tim Janzen. She will be remembered as “the favourite aunt” by her various nieces and nephews.
Memorial Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Holy Spirit Catholic School in Cochrane, and feel free to drop off chocolate to the Holy Spirit staff, “they deserve it!”
Memorial service will be held at Cochrane Alliance Church, 902 Glenbow Drive, Cochrane Alberta, June 20th 2026 at 1pm.

“If everyone could bring a bouquet of flowers to my celebration of life, you will throw them up in the air at the same time and who ever catches one, you`re next! Just Kidding, but remember to keep things light, life is far too short. Remember to never take life too seriously, you’ll never get out alive.”
