Robert “Bob” Sheane passed away on October 24, 2026, at Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, Alberta, with his family by his side. He was born on July 19, 1952, in Calgary, Alberta, and will be remembered with deep love for his warmth, humour, and the lively spirit he brought to those around him.

Bob graduated from Henry Wisewood High School in Calgary and went on to work in sales and as a truck driver for many years. He approached life with a great sense of humour and a gift for connecting with people. That natural ease with others also made him a great public speaker, and he took pride in his involvement with the Kinsmen organization, where he achieved the role of Deputy Governor.

He embraced life’s pleasures wholeheartedly. Bob loved to watch sports, play golf, and was, by all accounts, a damn good golfer. He especially enjoyed spending time at his holiday trailer in Edgewater, BC, a place that surely held many happy moments. He loved Christmas, especially when a big group could gather together, and he delighted in planning parties and birthdays. He was also a great dancer, and those who knew him will remember the energy and joy he brought to celebrations of all kinds.

Bob leaves behind a family who will continue to carry his memory forward with love. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Berryman, and her husband, Kerry Berryman, of Cremona, Alberta. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Dawn-Lynn Morris, her husband, Phil, and their two boys, Cole and Rhys, whose lives were part of the family circle he cherished. Also remembering him is Tini, his former spouse and caring friend.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Grace and Lawrence Sheane, and by his only sister, Barbara Campbell, who died in June 2026.

In honouring Bob's wishes, there will be no funeral. Donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Dulcina Hospice through the Covenant Foundation.

Bob will be remembered as a man who enjoyed people, loved a good gathering, and made life brighter with laughter, conversation, and celebration. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
