Teresa “Teresina” Camerlengo

Teresa Camerlengo passed away peacefully on November 9th, 2025, at the age of 90, bringing an end to a long and full life. While her final years were marked by the slow decline of dementia, the family asks that she be remembered for her infectious smile, love for music, passion for singing and devotion to her family.

Teresa was born in San Giorgio del Sannio, Italy and was raised in Altavilla, Irpina, Italy. Teresa married her husband, Domenico in 1953, and they immigrated to Canada in 1957.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She is survived by her loving children, Vittoria (Robert), Rita and Renzo; her grandchildren, IsaBelle (Jefri), Lorenzo (Jacolyn), and Ashley (Matthew); and her great-grandchildren, Lauren, Christian and Sofia. Teresa was predeceased by her husband, Domenico, and her youngest daughter Susanna.

A Funeral Service celebrating Teresa’s life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish in Cochrane, AB. Teresa will be laid to rest alongside her husband and daughter at the Westminster Mausoleum, in Toronto, Ontario.
